With Thanksgiving upon us, I would like to take a few minutes and share my gratitude to all the people around me working to support and enable our mission.  I’d encourage each of you who read this to jot down a few thoughts on the people who you are grateful for and communicate your gratitude with them in the coming days.

I’m am deeply thankful for…

1. My leadership team for their willingness to embrace my pace, our mission to transform the Quality and Risk Adjustment market, and the constant stream of feedback that comes from an impatient leader as we transform this industry.

2. Our customers, national, regional and small plans, for joining us in a journey of innovation. We don’t take your choice to partner with us lightly.

3. Partners such as Cognizant, HDD, and Nagnoi for believing in our differentiated platform and investing in our mission and amplifying our message in the marketplace.

4. My product and engineering team for striving to release new product rapidly and standing in the shoes of our customers when assessing the overall experience.

5. Our operations team for respectfully engaging with each of the 80,000+ provider offices we contact on an annual basis to facilitate the retrieval of medical records and doing this in such away that we achieve a 51 net promoter score and an accuracy score of > 97%.

6. To my mentors / sounding boards (you know who you are) for helping me seek better / stronger / more thoughtful solutions to the issues that regularly confront me as CEO.

7. To Yves and Lenny my Board members for having the faith to follow my lead and support HDVI as needed. Your support is energizing.

8. My sales and marketing team for creating awareness with over 200 plans who didn’t know we existed a year ago and for embracing the opportunity to engage the market in a new conversation about choice, control, transparency and self-sufficiency.

9. My family for understanding that the job and role isn’t left at the office. It’s there every minute / every day and that’s ok and I don’t need to apologize.

I wish you all a Thanksgiving holiday filled with warmth, love, and gratitude.
